1) A mediocre teacher tells things.

2) A good teacher explains them.

3) A great teacher demonstrates them.

4) A Master inspires.

I think that when someone talks to us, it is appropriate for us to try to understand which category our interlocutor belongs to. This is my humble opinion, or judgment if you prefer.
